[Committee on Parishes] On motion of Mr. Dunlap, Ordered that the Committee on Parishes and other Religious Societies, be instructed to enquire into the expediency of authorizing and empowering Parishes to appoint Treasurers of Parishes Collectors of Taxes therein, in the same manner as towns are now authorized by law to do: Sent down for concurrence, and came up concurred.
