[Bill - regulating Elections -]

Bill "regulating Elections" came back from the Senate passed to be engrossed with an amendment in which amendment the House new concurs.

[Bill - criminal costs]

Committee "to whom was referred Bills reported by the Board of Jurisprudence" providing for the payment of costs in criminal prosecutions and for preventing unnecessary costs therein" - also providing for the payment of costs in criminal prosecutions before the Circuit Court of Common Pleas and Justices of the Peace and for the support of poor prisoners committed on criminal process not otherwise provided for" also "providing for the payment of costs in criminal prosecutions before the Supreme Judicial Court of this State and for the support of poor prisoners committed by the sentence of said Court - report a Bill embracing the subjects of all the foregoing Bills. Read & Report accepted.

[Bill - poor debtors]

Bill "for the relief of Poor Debtors" is reported with two additional sections to be inserted after 24th Sec. - which are adopted Read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Repealing law -]

A communication was received & read by the Speaker from the Board of Jurisprudence transmitting a "Repealing Law" and on motion referred to Messrs Stebbins, Smith and Reed of Waldoborough.
