An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs Witham & Usher with such as the House may join a Committee to wait upon Albion K Oarris Esquire & inform him that he has been elected Governor of the State of Maine for the ensuing political year agreeably to the provisions of the Constitution - and that the Senate & House of Representatives will convene in the Representatives Chamber to qualify him for the discharge of the duties of that office agreeably to the constitution where it may be convenient for him to attend for that purpose and the House concurred and Messrs Fillebrown, McIntire, Shaw, Spring & Wood were joined.
