Dear Sir I have a son in Company B 2d Reg. VMM who enlisted as he supposed for 3 months while I was gon to Augusta at the Easter time and went to Bangor and did not want to back out and put his name down for 2 years and wanted him to sign for 3 years at N York but he did not so sign and he does not like the Drinking of the field officers and he has got uneasy and would like to ask a Discharge and come home Please write me whether you can and will do anything for him or not Yours Truly
