On motion of Mr. Campbell, Ordered that the committee on State Lands be requested to enquire into the expediency of making further provision in the Laws for the preservation of Pine Timber on the State's Land, with leave to report by Bill otherwise: sent down for concurrence : concurred.-

Bill additional to the act regulating the Herring Fishery, was read and passed to be engrossed with an amendment : sent down for concurrence : concurred Feb. 9th.-

Bill to annex a part of Buxton to Standish came up, and the House adopt a further amendment, in which the Senate concur and pass the same to be engrossed.-
