Dear Sir There are a number of good men here who wish to go with me to Washington next week and join the second Reg.. and if you will allow me I will recruit them without expense to the state and take them on to Wash. Wheel wright & Clark have about twenty uniforms ready so that number of men could go with me by the first of next week.
