settle certain Probate business in York County was read and passed to be engrossed; sent down for concurrence. -

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of Portland Bridge; and

[Bill establishing a Min: & School fund in Green]

Bill establishing a ministerial and school fund in Green, were severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed with amendments; sent down for concurrence. -

[Committee of the whole on location of seat of Government]

On motion of Mr. Burnham, the Senate went into a Committee of the whole, Mr. Dennett in the chair, upon concurring with the House in referring to the next Legislature, the Report of the Committee appointed by Resolve of the last Session, relative to the permanent location of the seat of Government; and after discussing the subject at considerable length, the Committee rose and reported to nonconcur the House in referring the subject of said report, and that the report be accepted. -
