On motion of Mr Boutelle, Ordered, that the committee on Literature & Literary Institutions be instructed to enquire into the expediency of appropriating that part of the Massachusetts claim on the Government of the United States for Military services during the late war, when realized, which will be assigned to this State and also the tax, which may hereafter accrue to the State from the increase of Bank Stock, as a fund for internal improvement and the support of literary Institutions - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
