Mr. Washburn from the Committee on Literature &c to whom was referred the message of the Governor of January 18th and the accompanying Resolution of the Legislature of Georgia on the subject of amending the Constitution of the United States in its provisions for the choice of President, reported that, as no definite proposition is submitted, it is inexpedient to take any further order on the subject. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.  Concurred
