Petition of Samuel M Pond agent for Castine River Lock & Sluice Company on the subject of the Fisheries in Penobscot River was read & referred to the committee on interior fisheries. Sent up for concurrence.

Message from the Senate by Mr Smith their Secretary - Mr Speaker, The Senate propose a convention of both Houses forthwith for the purpose of qualifying Daniel Wilkins Esquire a Counsellor elect - and the House concurred and the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith.

Agreeably to assignment the two branches met in convention in the Representatives Chamber when Daniel Wilkins Esquire Counsellor elect, came in & took and subscribed the oaths & declarations required by the Constitution to qualify him for the duties of his office - and the Senators retired -
