[1824] [Pet. of Selectmen of Farmington] Petition of the Selectmen of Farmington for a law to prevent setting fires, was read and referred to the Committee on New Trials. Sent down for concurrence and came up concurred.
[Petitions referred] The following Petitions committed in the House to the Joint Standing Committee on New Trials, came up for concurrence, viz: Petition of the Selectmen of Cornish to have the doings of said town made valid Petition of John Norton and others of Eastport for the erection of a Jail, and that the Court of Sessions may invest funds in their possession for that purpose. Petition of Ebenezer C.
