Petition of William F Gilmore and als, referred in this House yesterday to the Committee on Bridges, Turnpikes & Canals came from the Senate nonconcurred and referred to the committee on Interior fisheries – and the House concurred.
Ordered that Messrs Samson of Waldoboro, Warren of Palmyra and Cummings of Buckfield with such as the Senate may join be a committee to enquire into the expedience of passing an act to prohibit the setting of fires for the purpose of clearing lands or other purposes within certain seasons of the year – read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
