[Petitions referred] Petition of John Gray Jr. and others to be set off from Woodstock and annexed to Paris; Petition of the Assessors of Plantations No. 8 & 9 in the County of Hancock, to be incorporated into a town by the name of Franklin; Petition of John Shorey and others for alteration of the line between Litchfield and Richmond; Petition of the Inhabitants of Montville that part of said Town may be set off and annexed to Knox; Petition of Lewiston to be annexed to the County of Cumberland; and Petition of Selectmen of Richmond that Bowdoinham and Richmond may be compelled to support the poor within their own limits;

[Remonstrances] Remonstrance of the Selectmen of Mercer against a Petition to set off a part of Mercer to New Sharon; Remonstrance of the Selectmen of Frankfort against the petition of certain Inhabitants to be annexed to the town of Monroe; Remonstrance of Montville and Freedom, against the Petition of John Haskell and others, to have certain lands set off from Montville to Knox; Remonstrance of a Committee of the town of Bethel against the petition of James Walker and others, to be set off from Greenwood and annexed to Bethel; Remonstrance of Windsor against having a portion of their land set off and annexed to Vassalborough; and Remonstrance of the town of Greenwood against the annexation of a part of said town to Bethel, and they were severally read and referred to the same Committee in concurrence with the House.
