The Committee to whom was referred so much of the Governors Speech as related to the Massachusetts Claim made their reports which was read & accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to prevent the destruction of Moose, Deer & Carraboo, was called up & the House adhered to their vote passing the Bill to be engrossed agreeably to the recommendation of the conferees on the part of the House.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed, Resolve requiring returns from Registers of Deeds- - for the payment of Contingent Expenses - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on Bills in the third reading to whom were referred with enlarged powers, the Bill relating to the government of the State Prison reported by the committee on the Judiciary and also the Bill on the same subject prepared by the Attorney General together with all the accompanying papers reported as a New draft.
