Petition of Samuel Kennedy & als, inhabitants of Patricktown Plantation praying relief from taxation, was read & referred to the committee on Finance.
Agreeably to assignment the House took up the consideration of the Preamble & Order moved by Mr Boutelle of Waterville yesterday, and amended the Order by filling the Clark at A with the following words viz " On Monday next at half past two oclock in the afternoon," and the Mr Ruggles further moved to amend by striking out the preamble - but before this question was taken the House adjourned, to meet at two oclock this afternoon.
