  Ordered That the Committee on the part of the House to wait on Jonathan G Hunton Esqr Governors elect & inform him of his election ect, be directed to report forthwith read & passed.

Mr Seamman from the Committee on the part of the House to wait on Jonathan G Hunton, Governors elect & inform him of his election, and that the two branches of the Legislation are ready to convene in the Representatives Chamber at such time as he may appoint, and administer to him the oaths of office, reported that the Committee had attended to the duties assigned them, and that the Governor elect was pleased to say, he would meet the two branches in Convention in the Representatives.

A communication was received from the Secretary of State in the following words,
