Order of the House that so much of the Governors Message as relates to the Militia, be referred the Committee on the Militia and Military Affairs, came up for concurrence and was concurred.

Order of the House that so much of the Governors Message as relates to depredations made on the timber of the State, be referred to the Committee on State Lands, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

Order of the House that so much of the Governors Message as relates to our primary Schools and Colleges, be referred to the Committee on Literature and Library Institutions, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

On motion of Mr. Stebbins, Ordered that a message be sent to the House informing that after this day the Senate will hold but one Session each day, commencing at 9 O clock A.M.

Petition of William Ferguson for a pension was read and referred to the Committee on Applications of sick and wounded soldiers sent down for concurrence and came up concurred.
