� 78 June 25th A fair day. We are still in the brestworks. Got no news. 26th All quiet along the line A detale went on picket at night. Heavy fireing on the right in the evening. 27th A fair and hot day. One Dagget of co F was shot in the head and died ina few minutes. A shower at night.
