[Report] Mr. Dunn from the committee on an order to consider the expediency of exempting all persons upwards of 70 years of ages, from paying a Poll tax, reported that it is inexpedient to pass any law upon that subject : Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence : concurred.-

Mr. Witham from the committee on engrossed Bills, reported the following to be truly copied, viz.-

[Bills enacted] Bill to annex part of the land of Jonathan Goodridge to Canaan, Bill additional respecting the Wiscasset Bank, Bill to establish a Ministerial fund in Chesterville, Bill additional to the act to incorporate the proprietors of Steams Pond Canal, Bill to incorporate the Trustees of the Ministerial fund in Milburn, Bill additional respecting the Hallowell and Augusta Bank, Bill for the preservation of Alewives and other fish in Salmon Falls river, Bill altering the time of holding the Court of sessions in Lincoln County, Bill to incorporate the proprietors of Free Meeting house in Georgetown, Bill to incorporate the Portland Steam Boat Navigation Company, and Bill to incorporate Tranquil Lodge; and they were severally passed to be enacted.- also

[Resolves passed] Resolve in favor of the Penobscot Indians, Resolve on petition of William H. Ruggles, and Resolve on petition of Elizabeth Caper; and they were severally passed.-
