The rebels tried to cross the river and we drove them back takeing some prisoners. 5th All quiet today. 6th We had a dress parade at night 7th We had a drill in the A.M. and P.M. 8th We marched to Beverly Ford. 9th Shifted camp to the river in the morning and devine serviss P.M. 10th We drill twice today 11th H Co drill A.M. and Battalion drill P.M.
