Ordered that the Clerk forthwith employ some suitable person to assist him in the discharge of the duties of his office.

The Clerk accordingly appointed Carleton Dole Esqr of Alna.

Ordered that this House will elect by ballot a Chaplain, and that tomorrow at ten oclock be assigned for that purpose.
