Remonstrance of Paul Welsh & als against a division of the town of York, was read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of towns. Sent up for concurrence

Bill - additional act respecting the fishery in the seven mile brook in Vassalboro, was taken up & referred to Messrs Redington of Vassalboro, Ames of Clinton & Burnham of Unity.

Petition of William R Miller for authority to construct a Canal or sluiceway on Piscataquis river, was read & referred to the committee on Canals &c - Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve relating to internal improvements, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed as amended at F. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve relative to fines, forfeitures & bills of cost, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - an additional act regulating marriage & for the orderly solemnization thereof, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading.

Bill - to establish the Kennebec Lumber association, was read a 1st & 2d time & Thursday next at 10 oclock assigned for a third reading.

Bill - an additional act for the regulation of Inholders, Retailers & Common Victuallers, was read once & indefinitely postponed in concurrence with the Senate.
