[1824] [February 25] reported a

[Bill & Resolve passed] Bill to incorporate the Sebago Pond Steam Navigation Company to be truly copied, and it was passed to be enacted: Also Resolve making appropriations for carrying into effect the Act respecting the public lands, and it was passed. -

[Absence granted] Mr. Dunn asked and obtained leave of absence after 11 oclock this day. -

The Senate reconsider their votes by which they passed to be engrossed two new Resolves for laying a tax on the several Counties: They also recede from, and reconsider all their former votes by which they refused passage to the

[Resolve] Resolve for laying a tax on the several Counties, as in the original draft, and now pass the same to be engrossed in concurrence with the House. -

[Bill] Bill additional to an Act to organize, govern and discipline the Militia, came up with a further amendment in which the Senate concur and pass the same to be engrossed. -

[Bill & Messages] The Senate reconsider their vote by which they passed to be engrossed and enacted, the Bill providing for the government of the State Prison, and for the punishment of Convicts, adopt an amendment at B. in the 17th Section, and now pass the same to be engrossed and enacted as amended: and a Message was sent to the House informing them of the same and requesting their concurrence. And a Message was received from the House informing that they had voted to concur the Senate in the foregoing amendment of said Bill. -
