[Pet. Chas. Vaughan & al referred] Petition of Charles Vaughan & others for incorporation of a Manufacturing Company was referred to the committee on Manufactures. s.d.f.c. Concurred.

[Order respecting returns of Births Deaths &c] Order of the House of Representatives that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of making provision by Law for having accurate Returns of the births, deaths and marriages in the several towns made annually to the secretary of State was read and passed in concurrence.

[Bill to incorporate Sebago Steam Boat Company &c] Bill to incorporate the Sebago and Long Pond Steam Boat Navigation Company was read a second time, Mr. Dane moved to strike out so much of the third section as gives to said Company exclusive privileges and the question was ordered to be taken by yeas and nays and decided in the affirmative as follows viz Yeas Messrs.
