Agreeably to assignment the Two houses met in convention, when Charles Hutchings Jun counsellor elect appeared and before the President of the Senate, in presence of both Houses of the Legislature took and subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify him to enter upon the duties of his office. the convention then separated.
