[Order of H. R. Sheriffs Fees]
Order of the House of Representatives that the committee who have under consideration the subject relating to Sheriffs be instructed to report a bill providing a reduction of fifteen per cent on collection fees. to prohibit the Sheriffs from taking from their Deputies any sum exceeding ten per cent on all collection fees - to fix the daily allowance of the Sheriffs while attending Courts at Three Dollars per day
- and also to make such general provisions as shall be necessary to make the system conformable to this order - was read and non concurred

"That Messrs Shaw, White and Goodwin with such as the Senate may join be a Committee to inquire into the expediency of repealing the Act passed March 7th 1826 exempting certain goods and chattels from attachment and execution, came up for concurrence - non concurred and referred the committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. concurred
[Order of H.R. Law relating to Highways]
That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of so amending the Law in relation to highways as to limit the time for claiming damages for land taken for any public street or highway laid out by authority of the town was read and passed in concurrence.
