Mr. Richardson from the Committee appointed by order of January 25th, to settle with Elias Thomas, late Treasurer of State, to make a schedule of all the property in the Treasury & transfer the same to Mark Harris Esq. Treasurer elect reported that they had attended to the duty assigned them and examined the accounts of said Treasurer (a copy of which is submitted) and find the same correctly stated and properly vouched, that the balance of cash in the Treasury amounting to Twenty Eight thousand three hundred and twenty Dollars and sixty three cents and all other property in the Treasury they had transferred to Mark Harris, his receipt for which follows the schedule herewith submitted. The Committee take the liberty to express their satisfaction for the faithful manner in the business of the Treasury has been conducted by Elias Thomas Esq the late Treasurer as far as their investigation has enabled them to judge of it. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Bill to prevent the destruction of fish in the Sebasticook River was once read and referred to the next Legislature and ordered that the petitioners cause an attested copy of this Bill and order thereon to be published in the Waterville Intelligencer three weeks successively the last publication to be three months before the session of the next Legislature. Sent down for concurrence. concurred.
