Bill – changing the names of certain persons, reported by the committee on change of names, was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.
Bill – establishing the salaries of the Judge & Register of Probate for the County of Waldo, was taken up – The House insist upon their vote of 20th inst passing the same to be engrossed as amended[underlined], propose a conference, & appoint as conferees on their part Messrs Evans of Gardiner, Adams of Portland & Bourne of Kennebunk.

Resolve confirming the sale of land by James Irish to Joshua Carpenter, was read once & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a second reading.
