Bradbury of Hollis, Kidder of Milburn and Lufkin of Portland, with such as the Senate may join be a committee to inquire into the expedience of altering or amending the Law now in force authorizing actions of Trespass against Sheriffs & Deputy Sheriffs in certain cases was read and passed in concurrence and Messrs. Dane and Kingsbury were joined.

[Order concerning the Law regulating Divorces] Order of the House that Messrs. Shapleigh of Berwick, Peaslee of Whitefield and Hunt of Avon with such as the Senate may join be a committee to inquire into the expediency of altering the Law regulating divorces and the propriety of passing an additional Law further regulating the same with leave to report by bill or otherwise was read and passed in concurrence and Messrs. Emerson and Phelps were joined.

[Report on the bond of Elias Thomas, Treas.] Mr. Hilton from the Joint Select Committee to whom was referred the Bond of Elias Thomas Treasurer elect reported that the Committee had examined the bond and are of the opinion that the same is good and sufficient. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.
