Petition of Charles Thompson & als members of the Standish Light Infantry, to be incorporated and that the officers may be commissioned as Col., Lieut. Col., & Major &c was read & referred to the committee on the militia & military affairs. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Charles Thompson & als members of the Standish Light Infantry, to be incorporated and that the officers may be commissioned as Col, Lieut Col, & Major &c was read & referred to the committee on the Militia & Military Affairs - Sent up for concurrence.
Ordered, That the committee on Finance be authorized to make such alterations in apportioning the State Tax on such towns & plantations as may be affected by any law or resolve, whereby any change has been made in the polls and estates heretofore belonging to the same as may appear to be just & equitable. read & passed.
 
  
Bill to prevent fraud in the conveyance of real & personal estate was taken up & referred to the next Legislature.

Ordered that the Committee on Finance be authorized to make such alterations in apportioning the State Tax on such towns & plantations as may be affected by any law or resolve, whereby any change has been made in the polls and estates heretofore belonging to the same as may appear to be just & equitable - read & passed.
  
Bill to prevent the destruction of Fish in Sebasticook River, came from the Senate again passed to be engrossed - The House adhere to their vote of 14th inst. refusing the Bill a passage.
