[Bill recognizing Strafford Manufacturing Company] Mr. Hilton from the Committee on Manufactures on the petition of the Strafford Manufacturing Company reported Bill recognizing the Strafford Manufacturing Company as a Corporation within this State and the same was read once and tomorrow 10 o'clock assigned for a second reading.

[Report Legislation inexpedient] Mr. Parsons from the committee on State Lands on order of January 30th requiring the Committee to make inquiry into the expediency of providing by Law that the Land Agent shall make report of all his proceedings to the Legislature before the second Wednesday of each session reported that, as all the information may be obtained by a request to the Governor, they deem it inexpedient to legislate on the subject.
