The House resumed the consideration of the motion to strike out the votes from Argyle - & a call being made for the previous question & sustained  - the question "shall the main question be now put" - was put & decided in the affirmative - and the main question was put as to the amendment and decided in the negative by yeas & nays as follows Yeas 61. Nays 83. (for yeas & nays see page 370)

Isaac Lane had Ninety nine, Allen H. Cobb had One hundred, Joseph Howard had one hundred, Hezekiah Prince had one hundred, Abijah Smith had one hundred, William Emerson had one hundred & Ralph C. Johnson had one hundred votes and they were declared duly elected.
