[Bill to prevent the destruction of Moose Deer &c] Bill to prevent the destruction of Moose, Deer and Carraboo was read once and 12 o'clock this day assigned for a second reading.

[Resolve authorizing a subscription for Greenleaf's Maps &c] Resolve authorizing the Secretary of State to subscribe for a map of the State and statistical work by Moses Greenleaf and the same was once read and committed to Messrs. Kingsbury, Phelps, and Hilton.

[Bill postponed indefinitely] Bill to authorize the town of Falmouth to erect a toll Bridge over the Presumpscot Rover was indefinitely postponed in concurrence.

[Bill for preservation of Ticonic Bridge] Bill for the preservation of Ticonic Bridge laid on the table by Mr. Kingsbury by leave obtained was read once and today at 12 o'clock assigned for a second reading.

[Bill addl. concerning Bonds of Sheriffs & Coroners &c] Bill additional to "an Act providing that bonds shall be given by Sheriffs and Coroners to the Treasurer of State and giving remedies thereon" came up passed to be engrossed in a new draft for concurrence and the Senate concurred.

[Bill additional concerning Taxes &c] Mr. Grover from the Committee reported in a new draft Bill additional concerning the assessment and collection of taxes, and the same was read once and this afternoon at three o'clock assigned for a 2nd reading.

[Bill giving add. power to Jus. Peace passed to be engrossed] Bill giving additional powers to Justices of the Peace in certain cases was read a second time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence.

[Bill respecting Sheriffs &c] Bill additional respecting Sheriffs came from the House and the Senate adhere to their former vote passing the Bill to be engrossed, as amended. Sent down for concurrence.
