[Bill to incorporate Waterville, Gardner & Boston Packet Company] "An Act to incorporate the Waterville, Gardner & Boston Packet Company" reported by the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, was read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. [Bill concerning Sheepskins] An Act to regulate the sale of sheepskins was read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. [Message from the Governor] The Secretary of State came in and laid on the table a written message from the Governor, informing the Legislature of a vacancy in the office of Major General of the fourth division of the Militia of this State. Read and sent down to the House. [Order] On motion of Mr. Steele, ordered, that on Monday next at twelve o'clock at noon, the Senate proceed to the choice of a Major General of the fourth division of the Militia of this State.
