I think that is rather hard talk to a soldier that volentered  to fight for his country and to be treated in this manner and if you want any more proof of it there are more men from Maine here, that is hearing such trash everyday. I should like to know wether I have to stay here or not. My physician says that he thinks that I shall not be able to go to my Regt again. I belong to the 2nd Maine Regt.
