[Report Committee Conferees] Mr. Dane from the Committee of Conferees on the disagreement of the two Houses, respecting the Bill entitled "An Act additional to an act ascertaining what shall constitute the legal settlement and providing for the relief, support, employment and removal of the Poor, reported that they had made several unsuccessful attempts to meet the Conferees of the House and the engagements of the gentlemen appointed on the part of the House render it probable that no meeting can take place during this session, the Conferees, therefore request that they may be discharged from the further consideration of the subject.
