Remonstrance of the Agent of the town of Winslow came from the Senate nonconcurred & referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns for concurrence - & the House receded from their former votes referring these Remonstrances and referred the same to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns in concurrence with the Senate

Report of the Committee to consider & examine the best mode of raising a Valuation Committee came from the Senate taken into a new draft by which it is ordered that a Valuation Committee be raised from the Legislature consisting of Thirtyone - Five from the Senate & Twenty six from the House of Representatives & that four be taken from each of the Counties of York Cumberland Lincoln & Kennebec - three from each of the Counties of Oxford, Somerset, & Penobscot - and two from each of the other Counties of Waldo, Hancock, & Washington - which new draft came down accepted for concurrence - & the House receded from their former votes on this subject & concurred with the Senate - & the question upon concurring with the Senate in the acceptance of this new draft was taken by yeas & nays as follows Yeas 96 Nays 47 - (for yeas & nays see page 393)

Petition of Joseph Day and others to be incorporated by the name of the Woolwich Ferry Company of Ebenezer Delano & others in favor of granting to the old Ferryman on the Woolwich side of the Kennebeck river the right to establish a Horse ferry &c

of Samuel Winter & others upon the same subject was severally read & referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals - sent up for concurrence
