Report of the Committee to consider & examine the best mode of raising a Valuation Committee came from the Senate taken into a new draft by which it is ordered that a Valuation Committee be raised from the Legislature consisting of Thirtyone - Five from the Senate & Twenty six from the House of Representatives & that four be taken from each of the Counties of York Cumberland Lincoln & Kennebec - three from each of the Counties of Oxford, Somerset, & Penobscot - and two from each of the other Counties of Waldo, Hancock, & Washington - which new draft came down accepted for concurrence - & the House receded from their former votes on this subject & concurred with the Senate - & the question upon concurring with the Senate in the acceptance of this new draft was taken by yeas & nays as follows Yeas 96 Nays 47 - (for yeas & nays see page 393)
