A committee was appointed to examine the credentials of members and ascertain if a quorum be present, who attended to the duty assigned them and reported in the affirmative.

A message was sent to the Governor informing him that a quorum of the House were assembled and requesting his attendance at the Representatives Hall to qualify the Representatives elect to enter upon the discharge of their official duties.
