Company and accompanying papers was read and referred to Messrs. Hardy of Bucksport, Patten of Hampden and Haskell of Knox.
Resolve - in favor of the Passamaquoddy Indians - was read a first time and tomorrow at eleven o'clock assigned for a second reading.
The House resumed the consideration of the Bill to regulate Banks and Banking and after much discussion - the question upon striking out of the third line in the sixteenth section of said Bill the words - "of one half" - was taken by Yeas and Nays as follows Yeas 89. Nays 25.
