Burbank of Gilead has been elected by the concurrent vote of Both Houses of the Legislature - Major General of the sixth Division of the Militia of this State, for concurrence, and the House concurred.
An Order came from the Senate for concurrence instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of so altering or amending the law respecting organized plantations that they shall support such persons as may become paupers within the limits of said Plantations - and the House concurred.
Resolve - in favor of William Witt - was read a second time and passed to be engrossed as taken into a new draft sent up for concurrence.
Bill - regulating the taking of Fish on Sheepscot River was read a first and second time and tomorrow at eleven oclock assigned for a third reading.
