Nays 80 (see appendix page) The Bill was then amended as on sheet annexed marked A, the previous question was then called for by Mr. Thomas of Friendship which being sustained, the question was then taken, "shall the main question be now put" and decided in the affirmative. The Bill then passed to be engrossed.
