     The Committee appointed to examine the Returns of votes from the several Towns and Plantations in the State for Senators, ascertain who are elected, what number of Vacancies exist and who are the Constitutional Candidates, having attended to that duty,

(See Journal of the Senate PAge 30] District of York, the whole number of votes given in and returned, in conformity with the provisions of the Constitution are 7056 Necessary to constitute an election 3529 Benjamin Pike has 3529 Abijah Usher Jr has 3530 and are elected.
