On motion of Mr. Cogswell, Ordered, that the Secretary of State be requested to inform the Legislature what appropriations of money or lands have been made for state roads and Bridges in the state of Maine since the 20th day of March A.D. 1821, designating the several roads and the amount of appropriations and expenditures upon each one, and the names of the several Agents or Commissioners under whose superintendence the said monies appropriated have been expended, and to communicate such information as he may possess as to the progress which has been made towards completing the several State Roads aforesaid. Read and passed.
