Report of Committee on Banks & Banking granting leave to withdraw on the Petition of Jonathan Tucker & others for renewal of the charter of the Manufacturers Bank at Saco was read & recommitted to the same Committee with instructions to report a Bill - sent up for concurrence

Ordered that the Committee on the Payroll be directed to make up the pay of the members of this House for travel and attendance including Thursday next

Bill to Encourage literature & the useful arts & sciences came again from the Senate they adhering to their vote passing the Bill to be Engrossed and the House nonconcur & adhere to their vote indefinitely postponing the same - sent up for concurrence
