Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to enquire what alteration if any be necessary in the law relating to the collection of Taxes and report by Bill or otherwise. Read and passed in concurrence.

The petition of Hosea Rich and other Surgeons for a law to legalize dissection and prevent the violation of the Sepulchres of the dead, was read and referred to Messrs. Burnham and Read with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence came up concurred and Messrs. Brackett of Falmouth Carr of Hebron and Comstock of Sumner were joined on the part of the House.
