Mr. Bradbury from the Committee on Division and alteration of Counties, reported leave to withdraw on sundry petitions of the inhabitants of several towns in the County of Hancock for the removal of the Courts from Castine to Ellsworth, and also, sundry petitions of inhabitants of said County praying for the removal of the Courts from Castine to Bluehill and not to to Ellsworth and also sundry remonstrance against the removal of the Courts from Castine, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

Resolved that the members of this House will attend the Funeral of Hon. Joshua Cushman this day at three o'clock at the Unitarian Meetinghouse and that a Committee of five be raised to make all suitable arrangements, and requesting the Concurrence of the Senate.

Joshua Cushman, deceased, late a member of the House of Representatives, the members of this Board will attend the funeral services, at the Unitarian Meeting House in the Village of Augusta, this afternoon at three o'clock, in concurrence.
 
Whereupon on motion of Mr. Prescott Ordered that from a high respect due to the private virtues as well as to the long and useful public service of the Hon.
