Mr Hunton from the joint Standing Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions reported leave to withdraw on the petitions of Ephraim Sawyer and others, and the Trustees of the School fund in the town of Guilford; And reference to the next Legislature on the report and accompanying papers, relative to the appointment of a Superintendant for the public schools; also on the petition of the proprietors of Parsonsfield Seminary, which were severally read and accepted.
