Order from the House, directing the joint standing Committee on State Lands to enquire into the expediency of authorizing the Land Agent to sell the lots of land in the town of Lincoln belonging to this State, and report by Bill or otherwise. Read and passed in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Washington County Bank. Bill to incorporate the Washington County Mutual Fire Insurance Company; severally came from the House amended. The Senate recede from the votes whereby they passed said Bills to be engrossed, so far as to adopt the amendments proposed by the House, and pass the same to be engrossed as amended in concurrence.

Bill additional for the preservation of Fish in the Penobscot Bay and River and the several streams emptying into the same. Read a second time and indefinitely postponed. Sent down for concurrence

Bill to annex a part of the town of Cornville to the town of Milburn laid on the table by Mr Webb; read twice and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill providing for the choice of Representatives to Congress, came from the House passed to be engrossed as taken into a new draft by the House for concurrence.
