On motion by Holmes of Alfred, Ordered, That the committee on the Judiciary be ordered to inquire into the expediency of revising an act to encourage the destruction of crows, & also an act to encourage the destruction of Bears, wolves, wildcats & Loup cerviers with such modifications as to provide for the destruction of other mischievous & ferocious animals. Resolve in favor of Gideon Robinson was read a second time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - to incorporate the Washington County Bank, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - an additional act to incorporate the Baring Bridge, was read a second time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.
Bill - to incorporate the town of Passadumkeag, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
Bill to repeal an act to repeal an act incorporating the first Universalist Christian Society in the town of Fryeburg, was read a second time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3rd reading.
