On Motion of Mr. Jewett of Portland Ordered that the use of the Representatives Hall be granted to Dr. Long for one Hour immediately after the adjournment this day for the purpose of exhibiting a Model of a patent Bridge read and passed

An order came from the Senate for concurrance [concurrence] directing the Committee on the Judiciary to enquire into the expediency of abolishing all the Laws in this State regulating Licences [Licenses] and reporting a substitute which shall be plain and inteligible [intelligible] and the House concurred sent up

On motion of Mr. Woodman of Buxton Ordered that the Committee on Elections be directed to enquire whether there are any person or persons now holding seats in this House whose names are not borne on the list of members Elect as reported by the Committee on Elections and if any person or persons should be found thus holding seats that he or they be suspended until further orders read and passed

Resolve authorizeing [authorizing] the Governor to appoint Agents to protect the Timber Lands in the State - was read once and tomorrow at ten o clock assigned for a second reading
